Born in Thornbury, but growing up on the outskirts of Birmingham, Tabi returned when the Marshes purchased the Heritage business in January 2014.
With a business management degree from the University of York and a passion for all things creative (and a proper cup of tea!) this was the perfect fit. All sourcing and buying for Papilio home is carried out by Tabi and as a result she is often darting around the country to try and find the best and most interesting products.
Tabi is becoming well known within the giftware industry and was invited to be a judge for The Gift of the Year Awards as well as making contributions to the trade press. With lots of ideas but too little time, be sure to keep your eye out for what she plans next!
Tabi's cat, Jinni, occassionally appears on our Facebook posts.
Gary and his wife Trudie moved to Thornbury when they got married in the early '80s. At the time he was working in the power industry, a career which took him and the family to Solihull in 1989.
A varied career saw him working on various activities before eventually settling on business development which led to projects in many countries including Brazil, Thailand and Russia.
Gary left the power industry in the mid 2000s and after a spell in paper and packaging started to look for the next thing to do - which was when he spotted that Heritage in Thornbury was for sale.
Equally happy with a spreadsheet or screwdriver, Garys role at Papilio is a combination of watching the cash flow and fixing the building.
When he is not indulging in a number of mid-life crises involving cars and guitars, he still works part-time with a number of FTSE 100 clients.
Gary and Trudie still live in Solihull where their son (and Tabi's brother), Ollie is a builder. Their dog, Tara, is also known to pop up on Facebook.
The Papilio home and Papilio coffee teams are made up of lots of fabulous and talented people who really care about making your experience with us a good one. They are ably led by Moira (home) and Katherine (coffee).
