We currently have a job opening for a part-time Sales Assistant in Papilio home.
What does the job involve?
working two days a week, (9am-5.30pm) and alternate Saturdays. Some occasional evenings required.
Holiday and sickness cover is carried out by staff and so occasional extra days are required
Providing excellent, active, customer service - listening to customers to help fulfil their needs and telling customers the stories behind products to encourage sales - we don’t do pushy sales
Receiving and handling of cash and operating our EPOS system
Having responsibility for a ‘department’ of stock in order to contribute to the shops success including through merchandising, restocking, spotting sales trends and slow sellers and completing a short monthly report
Compliance with all current Health and Safety and Fire Regulations to ensure the health, safety and enjoyment of customers
Assisting in keeping the shop floor and first floor stock and staff rooms clean and well maintained
Other tasks associated with Papilio at Heritage as required
