FOXHILLS musings — Makaton

Papilio coffee had Matthew join them this week. He was on work experience and was a star. So this week's sign is signed by Matthew. Not long to go until Easter!

In February we had a visit from Jakki Brown who is Joint Managing Director of Max Publishing. Max Publishing create a large number of the trade magazines for the Giftware, Greeting Cards and Homewares Industries. In a brief conversation with Jakki at a trade show in January I mentioned what we are doing at Papilio with Makaton as well as the Junior Retailer Scheme I started last summer. We have a lot of book worms in the Papilio team of whom Laura is one. So it was only right that she showed you this weeks sign.

I love pancakes and always think I should have them more often than just Shrove Tuesday. I can't flip one though, so I'm afraid the video is just the sign and no actual pancake flipping!

This week the Makaton sign is for friends. It felt wrong to therefore only have one person signing for you, so this time you get the double whammy of Katherine and Shelagh. If only I'd recorded them whilst practising!!!
