We Won!

Yesterday, Gary and I went to the Grosvenor House Hotel in London for The Greats Gift Retailer Awards. We weren't expecting to win as we were against lots of amazing businesses in our category (including the Oliver Bonas chain!), but we won! Our category was 'Best Non-Specialist Retailer of Gifts'. This was a national category and one I'm proud to be in as the Coffee Shop is also an important part of our business and has an important role in our Gift Shop Sales. Severn Vale Art Trail

It was a privilege to host the Severn Vale Art Trail exhibition over the past weekend. The Art Trail is a highlight of the Thornbury Calendar every year and I personally look forward to getting to go around different venues and see the vast array of talent from Thornbury and surrounding areas. Usually the exhibition is hosted in the Town Hall but for a variety of reasons we played host this year. A new format was trialled with all artists asked to contribute a piece for the exhibition that was a particular size. This allowed for fantastic comparison of art...
